Privacy policy

We only collect what we need to run bookings, messaging, and your account. We do not sell your personal information. When you book a braider, that braider sees the details needed for your appointment.

• Account info — name, email, and optional phone when you sign up.
• Booking details — service, date and time, and any notes you add for your appointment.
• Messages — texts you send through BraidAppt between clients and braiders.
• Braider profiles — business name, location, photos, and other info braiders choose to show publicly.
• Support messages — what you send through our contact form or support email.
• Basic technical info — things like browser type and IP address, mostly to keep the site secure and working.

• Run your account, bookings, waitlist, and messages.
• Send appointment reminders, updates, and replies when you contact us.
• Help braiders manage their schedule and clients.
• Fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

Braiders you book with see your name and appointment details for those bookings. Public reviews show what you choose to post.

Payment partners: Stripe processes card payments and deposits. We don't store your full card number — Stripe handles that securely.

Email delivery: We use a trusted email provider to send booking and account notifications.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

We use cookies and similar tech so you can stay logged in and so the site works properly. You can sign out anytime from your account. Your browser may also let you block cookies, but some features may not work without them.

• Update your name, phone, and other profile details in your account settings.
• Email support@braidappt.com to ask about your data or request account deletion.
• Braiders control what appears on their public booking page — that's their business profile, not private client data.

We use secure hosting, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls on our database. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong password and keep it private.

BraidAppt is built for adults booking hair services. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us their info, contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy as BraidAppt grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you're okay with the revised version.
