I've been braiding in the Triangle for over fifteen years, and I still get excited every time a client sits down with a fresh inspo pic and a story about the look they want. My home studio in North Raleigh is quiet, kid-free during appointments, and set up for long installs — knotless box braids, feed-ins, goddess styles, and custom cornrow designs. I work on adults and kids (12+) with a focus on scalp-friendly tension and parts that last 6–8 weeks without slipping. What to expect After you book, I send a prep checklist: wash-day timing, hair length, and whether you're bringing your own hair or need me to order it. Consultations are always welcome if you're new — we can talk through length, color, and realistic timing before you commit to a full day in the chair. Outside the chair, I'm a mom of two and a huge NC State fan. If you've been on my waitlist, thank you — I open slots in order and try to get everyone in within two weeks when I can.
